There are 30 stone reliefs of Buddhist stories embedded in the pagoda, and Chen Jingxian's ashes are buried in the pagoda. Tan Jingxian Jimei Ren, Tan Kah Kee's younger brother, is Tan Kah Kee's right-hand assistant in developing industry, and is respectfully called the "Second School Master" by teachers and students of Jimei School.
