Introduction to Shangzhi Hall: Shangzhi Hall is located in the northeast of Baotu Spring and is a courtyard of the original Shangzhi Academy. Shangzhi Academy was founded by Ding Baozhen, governor of Shandong Province, in the eighth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1869). In addition to studying Confucianism, scholars also studied astronomy, geography, and arithmetic. The hall once published books, called Shangzhitang Edition, which enjoyed a high reputation in the country.
