Introduction to the Minghu Ding: There is a Minghu Ding on the two-story stone Zhutai in the North Water Gate of the Ming Dynasty. It is shaped like a double-legged round iron tripod, 2.3 meters high, 1.5 meters in diameter, weighing 3.5 tons, and completely golden. , elegant in shape, decorated with phoenix patterns, and engraved with Chao Bu's "Beizhu Pavilion Fu and Preface".
Chao Bu, courtesy name Wujiu, was a native of Juye, Qizhou (now Shandong). He was a famous writer in the Northern Song Dynasty, one of the four scholars of the Su family, and a Jinshi of Yuanfeng, Emperor Shenzong of the Song Dynasty. He lived in the eighth year of Yuanyou, Zhezong of the Song Dynasty (1093 AD year) as the magistrate of Qizhou. "Beizhu Pavilion Fu" recalls Zeng Gong's achievements in guarding Qizhou and praises the beautiful scenery of Daming Lake.
