Introduction to the Confucian Temple: Jinan Fuxue Confucian Temple was built in the Xining period of the Song Dynasty (1068-1077 AD). It collapsed at the end of the Yuan Dynasty and was rebuilt in the second year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1369 AD). After the founding of New China, the Confucian Temple was occupied by primary schools, factories, etc., and many buildings were destroyed. In 2005, the Confucian Temple began large-scale restoration and became the core part of Jinan Historical and Cultural Reserve.
