Introduction to Lingxing Gate: Lingxing, also known as Tiantian Star, was the god of agriculture in the Han Dynasty. In ancient times, emperors worshiped heaven first before offering sacrifices to Lingxing. The Confucius Temple has a Lingxing Gate, which means respecting Confucius as respecting heaven. The newly built Lingxing Gate is imitated in the style of the Confucius Temple in Qufu. It is a four-column flaming stone gate and has been moved to the south of Waipanchi. The four gods of cloud, rain, wind and thunder are sculpted on the upper part, and the pillars are made of a whole piece of grass white jade. The three characters "Lingxingmen" were written by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. The traditional Chinese character for "悂" is "悂". When Emperor Qianlong was writing this character, he thought that Confucius did not believe in ghosts and gods in his life, so he had an idea and removed the word "witch".
