Introduction to Wulongtan Spring: There are 28 springs in the park, which together form Wulongtan Spring. Wulongtan was called "Huiwan Spring" in the Jin Dynasty. It was called "Jingchi" in the Six Dynasties and "Siwang Lake" in the Song Dynasty. It was part of the ancient Daming Lake. According to the "Shui Jing Zhu" records, the spring in the Northern Wei Dynasty was a corner of Daming Lake, which is famous both at home and abroad as "the best lake in the world". According to legend, Wulongtan used to be an unfathomable pool, and whenever there was a severe drought, people would pray for rain. Therefore, in the Yuan Dynasty, some good people built a Wulong Temple beside the pool, with sculptures of five dragon gods inside. Since then, it was renamed Wulongtan.
