Introduction to Wenming Lake: Wenming Lake is located at the east foot of Xiangshan Mountain. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, Shu Chenglong, the magistrate of Jingmen, excavated a depression near the mountain while quarrying to build the Lailong Bridge on the east side of Longquan Academy, and then built a dike to form a pond. , the lake is fifty meters wide from east to west, two hundred meters long from north to south, three meters deep, and covers an area of ​​10,000 square meters. On the west side of the lake are the three famous springs of Meng, Long and Hui; on the north bank is Longquan Academy; on the south bank is the Lu Fuzi Temple and the Qinghe Bridge in front of the temple. The lake is rippling with blue waves and is as clear as a mirror; many pavilions and pavilions such as Liuqing Pavilion, Yueyuan Pavilion and Wenming Tower are reflected in the lake.
