Introduction to the famous springs in Xiangshan: Four clear springs are gushing at the eastern foot of Xiangshan. The spring water flows into Wenming Lake, and then flows into the Zhupi River, crossing the city and entering the Han River in the east. These are the four famous springs in Xiangshan that are famous in Jianghan: Long, Meng, Hui, Shun. Mengquan is named after the original Mengshan Mountain (the original name of Xiangshan Mountain). Huiquan comes out later than Mengquan. Because the hot spring is more favorable than Mengquan, it is called Huiquan. In the eleventh year of Qianlong's reign (AD 1740), Shu Chenglong of Duanzhou built the Lailong Stone Bridge on the Zhupi River. He quarried stones in the fields and dug a spring between Mengquan and Huiquan. A poem written by Lü Yuan, the Zhijun of Jingmen during the reign of Ning Dynasty: The Hongquan has a profound effect on moisturizing, the rocks trickle down to the sea, the eyes are clear, the years are gentle and the rain is gentle, the wind and clouds are long and quiet, and the White Dragon Palace is quiet. Shu Chenglong named this spring Longquan based on the last sentence of the poem. Shunquan is located in Lao Laizi Villa. Lao Laizi was a famous filial son. In memory of him, this spring was named Shunquan.
