Introduction to the Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Brigade Monument: The Weishan Lake Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Brigade Monument was inaugurated on July 16, 2004. It was designed by Shandong Art Institute and the title was inscribed by Liang Buting, the former Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee. The main monument is 37.77 meters high, symbolizing the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War on July 7, 1937; the base is 45 meters long, symbolizing the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in 1945. The monument is in the shape of a sailboat.
