Introduction to Jizi: Jizi, also known as Xu Yu, was the uncle of King Zhou of Shang Dynasty and the first philosopher in China. During the transition period between the Shang and Zhou dynasties, Jizi led 5,000 Shang dynasty survivors to move eastward to North Korea to establish the Oriental Gentleman State. He passed on etiquette and systems along with them, and was recognized by the Zhou Dynasty. This was the beginning of the history of Northeast China. The famous thinker Confucius called Weizi, Jizi and Bigan the "three benevolences".
