Introduction to Gaojia Opera: Gaojia Opera originated in Quanzhou, Fujian, also known as "Jiujia Opera" and "Daban". It is a Han local opera with the widest spread and the largest audience among all operas in southern Fujian. In May 2006, Gaojia Opera was approved by the State Council and included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage lists.
