Introduction to the former site of Yongjuxiang Tea House: "The former site of Yongjuxiang Tea House" is located at No. 45 East Street, Jinshang Old Street. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, individuals pooled shares to establish Yongjuxiang Tea House. The shareholders were from different families. The tea house was operated by selling tea from the south to the north. After 1949, it became a public-private partnership. The existing houses at the old site were built in the Qing Dynasty. It covers an area of 1,821 square meters and faces south. It is composed of street-facing pavilions, laneway rooms and three courtyards juxtaposed from north to south. The three courtyards all face west and east, with the east room and main room built on the central axis, and the north and south wing rooms on both sides.
