Introduction to Qiao'an (Qiao'an): It is located in Qiao'an Village, one mile south of Ersheng Temple. The original Daqiao nunnery here was located under the "Tiantian Gate" and at the head of Fulong Bridge. It was built in the Ming Dynasty. People from Chaoshan passed by the nunnery and was called "the first Zen pass in the southeast". Later, because the people of Qiao'an blocked Longxi River and built a dam, they built the Qiao'an power station. The ancient bridge was still intact but the nunnery was abandoned. Whenever the rainy season comes, the water from Longxi River overflows the dam, like thousands of silver threads, like rolling silver beads on the Tianhe River. This is the famous "Bamboo Waterfall", which is so beautiful.
