Hokkaido Museum Introduction: The Hokkaido Museum is a museum that interprets the nature, history and culture of Hokkaido from the perspective of "based on Northeast Asia". The exhibits in the museum range from the whole bodies of two types of elephants that once lived in Hokkaido. The restoration of the skeletons begins, that is, the mammoths that migrated from the mainland via Sakhalin Island. In addition to traditional Ainu crafts, there are also many aerial views and dioramas from the early Showa period.
