Introduction to Baima Zen Temple: Baima Zen Temple was built in the Tang Dynasty. It is the main place for Buddhist activities in Zezhou Prefecture and has been repaired in the past dynasties. In the 28th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty and in the 3rd year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, two major reconstructions were carried out, which made the White Horse Temple continue to expand in size and become more and more popular. In 1942, it was destroyed by the Japanese invasion of China. In 1989, Shi Longhui, the abbot of Shancai Cave in Wutai Mountain, came to live here to prepare for the renovation and established the "Baima Temple Mountain Tourism Park Leadership Group". Yan Zhixian, the former head of Jincheng County, served as the commander-in-chief and invested more than 200,000 yuan to build a tourist road leading to the tourist spot and improve the surrounding environment. Build 6 kilometers of tourist roads and repair various scenic spots. Make major buildings such as the "Sutra Library", "Ksitigarbha Hall" and "Mainxiong Hall" pay attention to their former majesty. In addition, scenic spots such as Black Dragon Pool, White Dragon Palace, Natural Stone City, Maling Stone, and Jinggong Tower have all been repaired. In the back mountain of the temple, a group of grotto Buddha statues from before the Tang Dynasty were discovered. There are 78 statues in total, ranging from 1 meter high to more than 20 centimeters. The Buddha statues are well preserved and have strong research value. In October 1996, Zhao Buchu, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and president of the Buddhist Association of China, changed the name of the temple to Baima Zen Temple.
