Introduction to the Eight Immortals: The Eight Immortals are the eight Taoist immortals widely circulated among the people. It is generally believed that the Eight Immortals come from Wu Yuantai's "Eight Immortals' Journey to the East" (i.e. "Journey to the East"), and are designated as Tieguai Li ( Li Xuan/Li Honghong), Han Zhongli (Zhongli Quan), Zhang Guolao, Lan Caihe, He Xiangu (He Xiaoyun), Lu Dongbin (Lv Yan), Han Xiangzi and Cao Guojiu (Cao Jingxiu).
