Introduction to Xizi Bay: Xizi Bay is located next to Kaohsiung Port and at the foot of the southwest end of Wanshou Mountain. During the early Qing Dynasty, it was named "Yanglu Bay", "Yangzi Bay", and also called "Xiewan". It became "Xieziwan" under the homophonic extension of the Hokkien language, and later became "Xiziwan".
