Introduction to worshiping Aobao: Shenguang Aobao was built in July 2007. It is located to the east of the Shenguang Xiangsha tourist area and in front of the tall sand dunes showing the divine light. The 188 cubic meters of granite used in Aobao were all selected from the top of Yinshan Mountain by special personnel and transported back to Shenguang Xiangsha Tourist Area by special vehicle. After Aobao was consecrated and ribbon-cut by Jiamuyang Tubutan, vice president of the Buddhist Association of China and abbot of Yonghe Temple in Beijing, the incense was strong and worshipers came in an endless stream.
