Jessen Sonamdajie (1954-1994) founded the Zhiduo County Western Working Committee (Western Working Committee) in 1992 to carry out ecological conservation work in the Hoh Xil area, and led the working group 12 times to an average altitude of more than 5,000 meters. In the uninhabited land of Hoh Xil, he conducted a survey of wild animal and plant resources and engaged in wildlife protection work with the theme of the fate of Tibetan antelopes, becoming the first person to protect wildlife in Hoh Xil. Died in a fight with poachers on January 18, 1994. In May 1996, China's State Environmental Protection Administration and Ministry of Forestry awarded Suonandajie the title of "Environmental Protection Guardian".
