Introduction to heathland and moorland grassland: It is 2800 to 4000 meters above sea level and is characterized by heather vegetation and various wild flowers. It has two unusual plants: Lobelia dekkenii and Senecio Kilimanjaro. Due to the high altitude, there are not many wild animals living in this area, but you can still see wild dogs, buffalo, elephants, and the most common eland. Lions occasionally roam the Shila Plateau.
