Introduction to Nankin Town: Nankin Town is the general name for the narrow area between Motomachi Street and Sakaemachi Street in Kobe. It is known as one of Japan's three major Chinatowns together with Yokohama Chinatown and Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown. Nanjing Street, which has gone through vicissitudes of history for 140 years, is 200 meters long from east to west and about 110 meters long from north to south. It is home to about a hundred Chinese restaurants, Chinese food stores and grocery stores.
