Introduction to the living room: The main courtyard is a three-entry courtyard with a magnificent wooden gatehouse, a foyer in front, open pavilions on the east and west sides, and an octagonal door in the east that allows access to the east courtyard and the east garden. There are two hanging flower-style doors, and you enter the rolling shed-style hall. Small doors on both sides of the hall can lead to the study courtyard and the flower viewing hall.
