City Hall Introduction: Seoul City Hall is located on Taepyeong-ro in Jung-gu, the heart of Seoul. Next to it is the City Hall Station of Seoul Subway Line 1 and Seoul Subway Line 2, and opposite is Seoul Plaza. This is the location of the Seoul City Government's office, which is responsible for handling various daily administrative affairs of the Seoul Special City. Construction of the new Seoul City Hall started in March 2008, which includes multi-purpose halls and cultural facilities for public use. There is a sky bridge connecting the old and new city halls. The old City Hall was listed as a national cultural property and was converted into the Seoul Municipal Library, open to the public.
