Introduction to the Forbidden City: The Forbidden City is the center of the Taihe Palace and Taoist temple complex. It was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. It has four square gates and a brick wall with a circumference of 365 feet. On the second floor platform in the middle of the city, there is a bronze Arctic Zhenwu. The hall is 6.7 meters high, 7.8 meters wide and 7.8 meters deep, with 16 columns serving as treasure-decorated lotus bases.
