Introduction to Changqing Temple: During the Han and Tang dynasties, there were thousands of green ponds here, covering miles and miles of ocean, and they were all called Peng Daojiang Pond. The temple of Emperor Gaozu of the Han Dynasty was built beside the pond. When Buddhism was popular in the Tang Dynasty, Master Wuwu built a temple on Changqing Mountain, reflecting the winding water, and named it Changqing Temple after the mountain.
