The top and second floors of Wanyuan Pavilion are dedicated to the Four Saints (Taihao Fuxi, King Wen of Zhou, Xuansheng Duke of Zhou, and Confucius) and the Four Sages (Lianxi Zhouzi, Kangjie Shaozi, Yichuan Chengzi, and Ziyang Zhuzi). The lower level is called "Wanglaitang", where colleagues discuss academic matters. At present, there are still stone inscriptions "Wanglaitang" and a couplet on the main entrance of the lower floor with a plaque and a couplet saying "Right learning is abandoned and the fortunes of the world are prospered, and elegance and elegance are continued through talents."
