Hydrological introduction: The river system in the reserve is relatively well developed. The rivers that flow all year round include Xinglong Gorge, Gonggu Gorge, Xujia Gorge, Fenchacha, Majiasi, Shuichagou, Guantangou, Xinying, and Huangping. There are 11 long flowing rivers including , Mapo and Yinshan.
