Introduction to the Fountain Square: At the intersection of the De Falk Windmill and the canal, there is a large fountain square. There is a pier for canal tour boats next to the bridge, and you can enter Leiden's largest commercial street, Haarlem Street, by walking along the Grand Canal for a few minutes.
