Introduction to Avalokitesvara Buddha Hall with Thousand Arms and Thousand Eyes: Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is compassionate, and in order to improve its efficiency in saving sentient beings, he transformed into a thousand-armed and thousand-eyed Buddha. It is said that the Avalokitesvara with Thousand Arms, Thousand Eyes and Ten Faces in the temple miraculously appeared during the period of Songtsan Gampo. Later, after the death of Songtsen Gampo and his two princesses, the gods were absorbed into this Buddha statue. This Buddhist temple is the most sacred Buddhist temple besides the Buddha Hall.
