Introduction to insects: There are 490 species of insects in the primeval forest scenic area, more than 250 species of birds, 44 species of mammals, and 12 species of amphibians and reptiles. Currently, there are 54 species of wild animals listed as national key protected animals. Among them, there are 8 first-level protected animals such as Chinese merganser, golden eagle, and sable, and 46 second-level protected animals such as brown bear, black bear, red deer, otter, mandarin duck, and goshawk.
