Introduction to Liuwang Temple: In the Ming Dynasty, the Liuwang Temple was built beside Liansidang to worship Liu Chengzhong. Liu Chengzhong, a Jianghuai officer commander in the Yuan Dynasty, drove away locusts for the people in the Jianghuai area. After the Yuan Dynasty fell, he sank in the river and was known as General Liu Meng. In the second year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty (1724), the whole country was ordered to worship Liu Chengzhong. During the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, Liu Chengzhong was conferred the title of "Pu Bless Heavenly King", and the incense in Liuwang Temple became more and more prosperous.
