Introduction to the courtyard: The ancient courtyard private school was built on March 27, 2009 in the Qing Dynasty. It is separated from Li Daorong Courtyard by a courtyard corridor. The moon-shaped courtyard door is protected by a push-pull wooden door, which is rare for northern residences. The couplets carved on the bricks outside the door read: "Knowing the virtues of heaven and earth is the basis, and there are more auspicious rooms to stop." The horizontal scroll says: "Teaching knowledge and solving doubts." The couplet inside the door reads: "Knowing the poet's poems and taking precautions to stop the yellow birds and leaves in Qiu", and the horizontal comment: "Ji Xian". The north room of the courtyard is a three-room cave dwelling. It is where Mr. Li teaches. All children of the Li family come here to study when they are 6 years old or older. There are three basements under each of the three cave dwellings, which can be used for storage and summer escape. The semicircular brick-carved windows are exposed on the ground, which is really ingenious. The private school teacher lives in the east wing. There is no west wing in the courtyard, so it looks spacious and quiet.
