Introduction to the Prime Minister's Temple: The Prime Minister's Temple was first built in the Song Dynasty to commemorate two historical celebrities. One is Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of the Shu Han Dynasty who passed through Rongzhou (now Yibin) during the Three Kingdoms period when he was conquering Yunnan and conquering the barbarians. The second one is Huang Tingjian, a great poet and calligrapher of the Northern Song Dynasty. Because of his nickname, the Taoist of the Valley, the ancestral hall is also called the Valley Temple.
