Dongzong Heroes Memorial Park is located in the west of Liuheng Town, covering an area of 60 acres. It was built in 2003 and opened on the eve of National Day in 2003. The monument to the martyrs is 18 meters high and 5.6 meters wide. On the front of the monument are engraved the words "Monument to the Martyrs of the East China Sea Guerrilla Corps" inscribed by Xue Ju, the former secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee. Behind the monument is an inscription erected by the Liuheng Town Government. In the center of the cemetery is the Memorial Square, which contains an exhibition room for historical relics.
