Introduction to Red Star Square: Red Star Square is located directly south of the gate of the cemetery. It was built at the end of 2010 and was named by General Xiang Shouzhi, the former commander of the Nanjing Military Region. The square is 318 meters long from east to west and 82 meters wide from north to south, with a greening rate of 60%. The east square has a gathering square that can accommodate 5,000 people, a bronze sculpture pillar, and a parking lot. The west square has a monument to martyr Zhang Fangjiu, a memorial pavilion for the Liupi Street Interdiction War, a monument to the everlasting majesty, a commemorative project, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, etc. facility.
