Introduction to the Martyrs' Tomb: Three days after the battle, the commanders and fighters of the 19th Regiment held a memorial meeting. The Huaiyin County party and government agencies and the people held a public burial ceremony. A three-foot-high earth tomb was piled up. On the tombstone It is engraved with "New Fourth Army Third Division, Seventh Brigade, Nineteenth Regiment, Second Battalion, Fourth Company, Eighty-second Martyrs Cemetery". In 1955, the tomb of the martyrs was rebuilt, with the tomb facing east and west. The tomb was cast with reinforced concrete and was in the shape of a tower, 8.2 meters high, symbolizing the 82 warriors. Red five stars were embedded on the front of the tombstone, and Comrade Li Yimeng's inscription was carved on the white marble. The tomb inscription "Tomb of the Eighty-Two Martyrs of Huaiyin" is inlaid with marble on the north and south sides respectively. Comrade Huang Kecheng's inscription is carved on the south marble: "Heroic battle, heroic sacrifice, military model, national glory"; Zhang Aiping is carved on the north marble. Comrade's inscription: "The martyrs of August 2, fought against three thousand enemies, defeated the many with a small number, and their reputation will be passed down through the ages."
