Introduction to Shushan Stele Forest: Longzhu Mountain, also known as Shushan, is located on the west side of Longzhu Lake, with a height of 46 meters and a radius of 300 meters. The mountains are lush with trees, beautiful rocks, winding stone paths, looming pavilions, and the top of the mountain. There is an ancient banyan tree, which is said to be more than 300 years old. The roots of the tree are intertwined, and the top of the tree is covered with greenery, adding a bit of beauty to Shushan.
Since the 1970s, the builders of Dule Scenic Area have been carving mountains and stones here, and have brought together fine works of famous modern calligraphers of different schools and styles from all over the country. By 1993, there were more than 80 cliff stone carvings. Among them, the wildly curated stone carving of "The World is Happy" by film and performance artist Zhao Dan is 1.2 meters wide, 3.3 meters high, and 70 centimeters in diameter. It is the largest piece in the mountain of books.
