Introduction to Lake Malebo (PoolMalebo): Also known as Lake Ngobira or Stanley Pool, it is a lake in the lower reaches of the Congo River. It is located between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of the Congo. There is Brazzaville to the northwest of the lake and Brazzaville on the other side. It's Kinshasa, and there's Banmu Island in the lake. Below Malebo Lake on the Congo River is Livingstone Falls. The waterfall's large drop blocks the navigation of ships on the river. Malebo Lake is the last navigable section of the Congo River.
