Introduction to the Royal Naval College: The Royal Naval College (GreenWich College) was originally the king's palace. During the Anglo-French war, it was converted into a nursing home for wounded soldiers. In 1871, it was converted into a naval college. The annual funding required is about 25,000 pounds. The academy is still used to train naval officers.
