Introduction to Wenchang Pavilion: Wenchang Pavilion, the site of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China in Western Fujian, is located in Jiaoyang Village, Jiaoyang Township, Shanghang County. It is a pagoda-style pavilion building built in the sixth year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1741). .
From July 22 to 29, 1929, the First Congress of the Communist Party of China in Western Fujian was held in Wenchang Pavilion. The meeting passed the "Political Resolution of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China in Western Fujian" and the resolution on land issues, Soviet power, Women, the Communist Youth League and other resolutions formulated the general line of "resolutely leading the masses and striving to realize the separatist power of workers and peasants in western Fujian". It not only guided the land revolution in western Fujian, but also played a role in other revolutionary base areas and even the land reform after liberation. It serves as a reference and example.
