Introduction to Xiecheng Store: Xiecheng Store, the former site where Mao Zedong wrote "A Spark Can Start a Prairie Fire", is located in Laifang Village, Gutian Town, Shanghang County, Fujian Province. It has a two-story brick and wood structure and was built in 1922.
On January 5, 1930, Comrade Mao Zedong wrote a nearly 10,000-word reply to Lin Biao here in response to Lin Biao's pessimism about "how long the red flag will be raised." The letter was originally titled "Estimation of the Current Situation and "Problems of Red Army Operations" was published and distributed to the cadres and soldiers of the Fourth Red Army to read and study. When the first edition of "Selected Works of Mao Zedong" was published after liberation, the letter was retitled "A single spark can start a prairie fire." "A single spark can start a prairie fire" is a symbol of the formation of Mao Zedong's theory of the Chinese revolutionary path of surrounding cities from rural areas and seizing power with arms.
