Introduction to Yuantong Temple: Beside the lotus pond at the foot of the cliff, there are existing ruins of the ancient Yuantong Temple. Yuantong Temple was originally the largest temple in Guanyin Cliff. According to relevant sources, during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, monk Ying Wen took a group of monks to Guanyin Cliff to open a mountain to worship Buddha and built a three-level Yuantong Temple. After Yingwen's death, the temple was also destroyed. In the Gengzi year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1660), Monk Xueqing was in charge of Guanyin rituals and rebuilt Yuantong Temple, with a scale of two to two.
