Introduction to Zhaomen Nunnery: Zhaomen Nunnery was built in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. The nunnery was built on the Hexin cliff about 6 meters high from the Saihai Lake. The adobe walls on the cliff and the small tile roofs look very much like a folk house. The building is 4.2 meters high and consists of a small hall and a miscellaneous room. There is a stalactite in the hall that is nearly 2 meters high and looks like a woman, which is called Guanyin Living Buddha. There is a spring dripping from above to the head of Guanyin all year round, and the locals call it a fairy. Pilgrims usually arrive by boat.
