Introduction to Thousand-Year-Old Sandalwood: Located outside the entrance of Longtan Canyon, Millennium-old Sandalwood stands beside the cliff. It is about 30 meters high and has a crown width of about 40 meters. The crown is huge and the branches and leaves are dense. The trunk is divided into four branches from the bottom and clusters upward, with a chest circumference of 6.5 meters; the tree roots are exposed and clinging to the rocks, criss-crossing like a coiled dragon and a crouching dragon. They grow only by absorbing water between dolomitic limestone and quartz sandstone.
