Xibo City, the Shang Capital, was the first imperial capital of the Shang Dynasty that preceded Zhengzhou Shang City and Anyang Shang City. It is located in the Heluo Plain, bordering Mang Mountain to the north, Luoshui to the south, and 100 meters from Yanshi City to the east. It is 6 kilometers away from the famous "Erlitou Site" in the southwest and 10 kilometers away from the ancient city of Luoyang in the Han and Wei dynasties in the west.
