Introduction to the ancient town of Pushi: Pushi is praised as one of the four famous towns in western Hunan. It is located in the middle reaches of the Yuanjiang River. It is an ancient town that was founded because of the military and prospered because of commerce. This simple and elegant border town has traces of human activities as early as 7,000 years ago. Qu Yuan, Wang Changling, and Shen Congwen also left immortal poems. The Yanmen Kangjia Castle on the outskirts of Pu City combines Han and Miao architectural art with obvious military defense overtones, clearly demonstrating the important archaeological value of the series of military relics of the Miao frontier walls.
