Introduction to Lu Xun's former residence: Lu Xun's former residence is located on the west side of Dongchangfangkou west of Laotaimen, that is, Zhoujia Xintaimen. The house faces north and south, with six entrances from the front and back. There are more than 80 large and small houses, together with the ones behind Including Baicao Garden, it covers a total area of more than 4,000 square meters.
The new Taimen of the Zhou family is now divided into three entrances, consisting of the Taimen Dou, the hall, the incense hall, the side rooms and miscellaneous rooms: a plaque "Hanlin" written by Lu Xun's grandfather Zhou Fuqing hangs directly above the hidden door inside the Taimen Dou; The second entrance is the "Deshou Hall", which is a hall with three openings and is a place for public activities of the entire Fang clan in Xintaimen; the third entrance is the "Incense Hall" for auxiliary displays, with settings such as "The Rise and Fall of the Zhou Fang Clan", "Lu Xun and The three-part exhibition "Zhou Zuoren" and "Lu Xun and Zhou Jianren" uses a large number of objects and photos to show the family history of Zhou (Lu Xun) and the relationship between Lu Xun and Zhou Zuoren and Zhou Jianren, that is, his life experience.
The place where Mr. Lu Xun lived as a child and boyhood is located to the west of Xintaimen. It can be entered from the black Shikutai gate facing the street of Xintaimen.
