Introduction to the new museum: The Liaoyang Museum was officially opened to the public on October 1, 1985. The name of the museum was inscribed by Bo Yibo. The exterior of the new building is decorated with a large roof and double eaves antique decoration, surrounded by a cloister with grass-white jade railings below. Above the 18 steps on the front is a wide platform in front of the hall. The eight maroon columns under the large eaves are particularly eye-catching. The whole building is simple and dignified, integrating seamlessly with the ancient building complex of Peng Mansion.
