Introduction to Huaping Mountain: The main peak of Huaping Mountain is winding and as wide as a screen. At the turn of spring and summer, birds are chirping and wild flowers are cluttered; in summer and autumn, the sky is high and the sun is crystal clear, forming a natural picture. One of the eight ancient scenic spots in Datong, "Hua Ping Qiu Jing" refers to this mountain. Liao Xisu even wrote a poem praising its beautiful scenery in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China.
