Introduction to the MANTASOA Great Lakes Area: The scenic area retains more than 100 million cubic meters of water all year round. The large lake area formed by artificial dams is surrounded by high mountains and ridges, dividing lakes of different sizes, quite similar to the "Little Thousand Island Lake" style. There are well-equipped hotels here and can provide a variety of tourism services such as water sports cruises, rowing boats and helicopter overlooks. Nearby, there are also the ruins of the earliest industrial city famous in the history of Madagascar that can be visited. This was built by Queen Ranavalona 1e of Imelina on the order of the Frenchman Jean Laborde. The scale was sensational for a while, but it was finally stopped due to political reasons.
